四sì月yuè清qīng和hé雨yǔ乍zhà晴qíng

The fourth month is mild; rain has just cleared.

南nán山shān当dāng户hù转zhuǎn分fēn明míng

The southern mountain beyond the door grows distinct.

更gèng无wú柳liǔ絮xù因yīn风fēng起qǐ

No more willow fluff rises on the wind;

惟wéi有yǒu葵kuí花huā向xiàng日rì倾qīng

Only mallow flowers lean toward the sun.

诗里说了什么

四月天气清和，雨刚停，门前的南山看得更清楚了。柳絮已经不再飞扬，只有葵花朝着太阳倾斜。这里的“葵”不宜直接等同于后来传入的现代向日葵。

“转”读 zhuǎn，指更加；“葵花”在古诗里不宜画成美洲传入的现代向日葵，可用传统蜀葵形象。
