庭中有奇树
庭中有奇树，
绿叶发华滋。
In the courtyard there is a rare tree, its green leaves surrounding abundant blossoms.
攀条折其荣，
将以遗所思。
I pull down a branch and break off its flower, to send to the one I think of.
馨香盈怀袖，
路远莫致之。
The fragrance fills my breast and sleeves; but the road is far and I cannot send it.
此物何足贵？
但感别经时。
What is this thing, that it should be prized? Only that I feel our parting has lasted so long.
