春chūn风fēng疑yī不bù到dào天tiān涯yá，

二èr月yuè山shān城chéng未wèi见jiàn花huā。

I doubt the spring wind ever reaches this corner of the world: in the second month the mountain town has still not seen a flower.

残cán雪xuě压yā枝zhī犹yóu有yǒu橘jú，

冻dòng雷léi惊jīng笋sǔn欲yù抽chōu芽yá。

Lingering snow still weighs upon the branches, and oranges are left; thunder in the cold startles the bamboo shoots, ready to sprout.

夜yè闻wén归guī雁yàn生shēng乡xiāng思sī，

病bìng入rù新xīn年nián感gǎn物wù华huá。

At night I hear the homing geese, and longing for home rises; ill as the new year begins, I am moved by the glory of things.

曾céng是shì洛luò阳yáng花huā下xià客kè，

野yě芳fāng虽suī晚wǎn不bù须xū嗟jiē。

I was once a guest beneath the flowers at Luoyang: though the wild blooms come late, there is no need to sigh.
